In his presentation, Henky emphasized three things. First, financial capital is important in running a business, but a no less important capital is nerves of steel and persistency. The second thing emphasized was the importance of separating personal finance and business finance. That way, an evaluation of the progress and decline of the business can be carried out and what should be done to improve it can be identified. The last thing Henky emphasized was the importance of monitoring productivity, not just the costs incurred. Costs focus on the money spent, but productivity focus on what is produced for each cent that is spent.
