Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna), through its TASAKU product, held an event at the Car Free Day area in Simpang Balapan Idjen Boulevard Roundabout on August 4, 2019. Taking Sunday Vaganza as the theme, the event started at 6 a.m. and immediately buzzed by Vaganza Gymnastics of Arema & Aremanita. It was followed with a Dance Competition which was participated by 15 professional dance groups from Malang and Surabaya.
Highlight of the event was the appreciation for TASAKU customers in the form of TASAKU Grand Prize drawing. A variety of prizes were offered, including 33 Alfa shopping vouchers, 3 mountain bikes, 3 refrigerators, 3 LED TVs and The Grand Prize of cloning balances worth up to Rp20 million. In addition, customers are also given the opportunity to get door prize draws with hundreds of prizes.
In this event, TASAKU also placed 5 service booths which were immediately crowded by customers & prospective customers. Some of the winners came from surrounding cities such as Surabaya, Gresik & Sidoarjo who also attended the event. The event was closed with cheerleaders & Top 40 Band performances that accompanying customers & all Car Free Day participants to leave the location.

TASAKU … Saving is Easy!
As part of its commitment to promoting financial literacy from an early age, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (BSS) hosted its "Adventure at Bank Sahabat Sampoerna" program on Thursday (June 25) in Jakarta. The program welcomed 46 students from Grade 4 of elementary school to Grade 9 of junior high school and was officially opened by BSS Director of Information Technology, Hendra Rahardja.
In the spirit of Eid al-Adha and as part of its commitment to supporting the surrounding community, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one sacrificial cow to Sampoerna Land for distribution to residents in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square area.
During the holy month of Ramadan, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, in collaboration with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, organized an iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering with the children of Yayasan Al Kahfi in Central Jakarta. The event was held as part of the institutions’ commitment to sharing joy and togetherness with the children during the blessed month of Ramadan.
On December 16, 2025, in celebration of Christmas, Bank Sampoerna held a social activity at Desa Putera Orphanage as a form of care and an effort to share happiness with the children.
To increase social awareness toward the surrounding community during Eid al-Adha, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one cow to Sampoerna Land to be distributed to those in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square building.
