Bank Sahabat Sampoerna or Bank Sampoerna and PT Mekar Investama Sampoerna (MEKAR) collaborated to launch MekarinAja. The launch was held on December 20, 2021 attended by Pandu Aditya Kristy as CEO of MEKAR, Adji Anggono as Chief of SME, Funding, FI, and Network of Bank Sampoerna and Hendra Setiawan, Head of Lending Center Bank Sampoerna. The event was also attended by around 70 Zoom participants consisting of media and bloggers.

MekarinAja is a unique product. The product offers different service from most loans in the form of installment loans. MekarinAja provides facility in the form of a checking account ceiling, so the borrower have flexibility in using their loans according to their needs. In this facility, the borrower is also not required to pay the loan principal every month, only interest according to usage.

After meeting the minimum core capital requirement of Rp2 trillion since the end of last November, Bank Sampoerna became more confident in its ability to provide real change for MSMEs.
