Throughout 2024, your donations have been distributed to to Jakarta’s chapter of the Foundation for the Advancement of Children with Disabilities (Yayasan Pembinaan Anak Cacat Foundation/YPAC) and Sayap Ibu Foundation (YSI) amounting to Rp270,979,574,- with each foundation receiving a donation of Rp135,489,787,-

Smile of Hope from YPAC Jakarta

Name : Rinjani Aurelia
Gender : Female
Diagnosis : Cerebral Palsy Athetoid

Rinjani didiagnosa mengidap Rinjani was diagnosed with Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and Intellectual Disability. When she first arrived at YPAC Jakarta, she was unable to sit and turn around. She tended to slouch her head while performing tasks.

Rinjani could control her head, turn around once, and sit comfortably after 1.5 years of frequent therapy.

 

Rinjani's first menstruation occurred some time ago, causing hormonal shifts and a decrease in her health. She suffered two seizures and had to be hospitalized. Despite having a history of epilepsy, seizures like these have not occurred in a long time.

After undergoing treatment, Rinjani's therapy progress decreased. She frequently bowed her head, and there was a trembling around her lips when she smiled or moved her mouth.

 

Currently, Rinjani's physiotherapy is focused on restoring her condition to the way it was before she had the seizure. In the future, after Rinjani's condition improves, physiotherapy will focus on training her to sit steadily and strengthen her head control.


Smile of Hope from YSI Jakarta

Name : Muhammad Randi Pratama
Gender : Male
Diagnosis : Speech Delay

Randi is one of the students at the Sayap Ibu Early Childhood Education. He was diagnosed with Speech Delay in the form of a speech development disorder. Thus, it is challenging for him to communicate and interact with others.

Randi undergoes speech therapy and sensory integration/occupational therapy twice a week to give early intervention and sensory stimulation. He also has a speech therapy to help him gain confidence in speaking. Randi's capability improves as he has regular therapy. He can sit quietly, follow directions, converse, pronounce simple phrases, understand language both orally and in writing, obey commands, and grasp basic cognitive ideas.

This time, the event aimed to bring joy to the children of Pintu Elok, an orphanage located in Pamulang, Banten. Attendees included Mr. Ivan Giarto, Chief Digital Business of BSS; Mr. Judy, the head of Pintu Elok; 45 children from the orphanage; and several employees from BSS, KSP SMS, and PSF.

Sharing Iftar Package with Orphans and the Underprivileged 2022

Bank Sahabat Sampoerna and its strategic partners, KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and Mekar held a donation program for orphans and the underprivileged to welcome Ramadan 1443 H. On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, the event was held at the Yatim and Duafa Yauma Dormitory (Dormitory Yauma), Paseban, Senen, Central Jakarta. The donations given consisted of iftar packages and relief funds of IDR 15,000,000.
