After successfully launched TASAKU (Tabungan Sampoerna – AlfaKu) in Surabaya and Sidoarjo in 2017, PT Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna) with PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk and PT Midi Utama Indonesia, Tbk (owner of Alfamart and Alfamidi networks) extended TASAKU’s service coverage to Malang, East Java. The Malang launching was held at Alfamidi Sudanco Supriyadi outlet, Jl. Sudanco Supriyadi 240, Kepuh – Malang on Saturday, July 7 2018.
The event was attended by OJK Malang’s rep. Titiek Bariati as Head of Supervisory Unit of IKNB, capital market, and EPK, Alfamart’s rep. Hilda Damayanti as Business Development Manager, and Alfamidi’s rep. Herman Wijaya and Dody Wijaksono as General Manager and Business Development Manager respectively. On the other hand Bank Sampoerna was represented by Henky Suryaputra as CFO, Ringo Nugraha Winata as Head of Funding Business, and several other senior management of the bank.
“Seeing the advancing economy in the city, we hope TASAKU can serve financial transactions for micro – middle segment in Malang. We believe TASAKU will be accepted by people in this city,” said Henky Suryaputra, CFO of Bank Sampoerna on the event.
As part of its commitment to promoting financial literacy from an early age, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (BSS) hosted its "Adventure at Bank Sahabat Sampoerna" program on Thursday (June 25) in Jakarta. The program welcomed 46 students from Grade 4 of elementary school to Grade 9 of junior high school and was officially opened by BSS Director of Information Technology, Hendra Rahardja.
In the spirit of Eid al-Adha and as part of its commitment to supporting the surrounding community, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one sacrificial cow to Sampoerna Land for distribution to residents in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square area.
During the holy month of Ramadan, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, in collaboration with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, organized an iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering with the children of Yayasan Al Kahfi in Central Jakarta. The event was held as part of the institutions’ commitment to sharing joy and togetherness with the children during the blessed month of Ramadan.
On December 16, 2025, in celebration of Christmas, Bank Sampoerna held a social activity at Desa Putera Orphanage as a form of care and an effort to share happiness with the children.
To increase social awareness toward the surrounding community during Eid al-Adha, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one cow to Sampoerna Land to be distributed to those in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square building.
