Despite Elisabeth Hospital has not been able to provide surgery for hydrocephalus patients because complying with the safety protocols in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, Wisma Kasih Bunda still holds fast to social activities to help others. Not only helping patients for their illness, their mental improvement and learning are also part of the social activities carried out by Wisma Kasih Bunda.
Coinciding with the 75th Indonesian Independence Day, Wisma Kasih Bunda invited children from the Bina Bunda Foundation. About 20 children from the Bina Bunda Foundation had their first experience singing anthem accompanied by the guardians using the angklung. The children were very happy to participate in a competition that was designed specifically for children with special needs.
On that occasion, Mrs. Anne Avantie as the supervisor of Wisma Kasih Bunda Foundation in front of the guardians said that Wisma Kasih Bunda received support from Bank Sampoerna through Tabungan Hati to reduce the cost of surgery and recovery for hydrocephalus and patients, including this activity as part of the support from Bank Sampoerna.
Mrs. Anne also advised that live as a nation must be broad-minded and must be tolerant of one another. Mutual respect and encourage each other. Especially for these special children, there is great enthusiasm for this event.
In the spirit of Christmas, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (BSS) partnered with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati (KSP SMS), Sampoerna Land, and Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) organized a charity event on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Gramedia World BSD. This time, the event aimed to bring joy to the children of Pintu Elok, an orphanage located in Pamulang, Banten. Attendees included Mr. Ivan Giarto, Chief Digital Business of BSS; Mr. Judy, the head of Pintu Elok; 45 children from the orphanage; and several employees from BSS, KSP SMS, and PSF.

Bank Sahabat Sampoerna and its strategic partners, KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and Mekar held a donation program for orphans and the underprivileged to welcome Ramadan 1443 H. On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, the event was held at the Yatim and Duafa Yauma Dormitory (Dormitory Yauma), Paseban, Senen, Central Jakarta. The donations given consisted of iftar packages and relief funds of IDR 15,000,000.
In the end of 2021, Bank Sampoerna collaborates with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and Mekar to hold a corporate social responsibility activity for Christmas. The bank paid a visit to Dwituna Rawinala Education Foundation, which is located in Pasar Rebo, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on December 21, 2021. Henky Suryaputra and Adriana R. Novitasari, as well as several employees, were in attendance representing the bank. The event was also joined by Dwihardjo Sutarto, Executive Director of the foundation and Fr. Laurens Tueng OFM who gave a sermon. Beside of that, some of the bank’s employee also joined the event virtually via zoom.
