Financial Literacy Education “Adventure at Bank Sampoerna” held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the head office, was lively and full of joy. A total of 29 children of employees, ranging from first to sixth grade, participated in a fun-filled adventure to get a closer look at their parent’s workplace.
During this activity, the children didn’t just play but also learned about financial literacy in an enjoyable way. They learned the importance of saving, how to distinguish real and counterfeit money, explored various professions at Bank Sampoerna, experienced banking services firsthand such as making deposits and withdrawals at an ATM, and even visited one of Bank Sampoerna's branches.
A special moment occurred when the children had the opportunity to meet the CEO of Bank Sampoerna, Ali Yong, who warmly welcomed them.
This activity became a valuable experience for the children, helping them to understand the importance of the working world and financial values from an early age.
As part of its commitment to promoting financial literacy from an early age, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (BSS) hosted its "Adventure at Bank Sahabat Sampoerna" program on Thursday (June 25) in Jakarta. The program welcomed 46 students from Grade 4 of elementary school to Grade 9 of junior high school and was officially opened by BSS Director of Information Technology, Hendra Rahardja.
In the spirit of Eid al-Adha and as part of its commitment to supporting the surrounding community, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one sacrificial cow to Sampoerna Land for distribution to residents in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square area.
During the holy month of Ramadan, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, in collaboration with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, organized an iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering with the children of Yayasan Al Kahfi in Central Jakarta. The event was held as part of the institutions’ commitment to sharing joy and togetherness with the children during the blessed month of Ramadan.
On December 16, 2025, in celebration of Christmas, Bank Sampoerna held a social activity at Desa Putera Orphanage as a form of care and an effort to share happiness with the children.
To increase social awareness toward the surrounding community during Eid al-Adha, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one cow to Sampoerna Land to be distributed to those in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square building.
