In order to increase precautions after holidays and leave at the end of 2020, on January 4, 2021 Bank Sampoerna in collaboration with CIGNA Health Insurance conducted a mass Rapid Test for its employees. The tests were held both at the head office and at several branch offices, especially in cities with high-risk Covid-19 exposure.
There were alternative locations for the tests. For employees who worked from office, the rapid test was held at the Head Office and the nearest PRODIA clinic to Bank Sampoerna’s branch offices. Meanwhile, for employees who worked from home, the rapid test was held at the PRODIA laboratories closest to the employee’s residence.
“This is one of our responsibility toward employees, because employees are very important company assets. Healthy employees who working at ease, that certainly will also have an impact on the company,“ said Mrs. Novi, Chief of Human Capital at Bank Sampoerna.
The rapid test performed was the rapid serology test, which was done by taking a blood sample from the veins in the employee’s arm and then consulting it with a doctor.
As part of its commitment to promoting financial literacy from an early age, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (BSS) hosted its "Adventure at Bank Sahabat Sampoerna" program on Thursday (June 25) in Jakarta. The program welcomed 46 students from Grade 4 of elementary school to Grade 9 of junior high school and was officially opened by BSS Director of Information Technology, Hendra Rahardja.
In the spirit of Eid al-Adha and as part of its commitment to supporting the surrounding community, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one sacrificial cow to Sampoerna Land for distribution to residents in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square area.
During the holy month of Ramadan, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, in collaboration with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, organized an iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering with the children of Yayasan Al Kahfi in Central Jakarta. The event was held as part of the institutions’ commitment to sharing joy and togetherness with the children during the blessed month of Ramadan.
On December 16, 2025, in celebration of Christmas, Bank Sampoerna held a social activity at Desa Putera Orphanage as a form of care and an effort to share happiness with the children.
